Dx10 was rolled on with the arrival of Windows Vista and it changed our view towards the graphics oriented world.NVIDIA launched the Dx10 compatible GeForce 8 series GPU’s for high-end gamers in the first half of 2007 and now its keeps us wondering about the GeForce 9 series. But just when we go impatient thinking about the GeForce 9 series we get a news related to it and we come out of our sleeping blankets with a roar.
GeForce 9800 GX2(Codenamed G98 or D8M) and GeForce 9600 GT(Codenamed D9P or G94) are expected to be launced by february or march 2008.
GeForce 9800 GX2 is expected to to replace the 8800 Ultra and is also supposed to be 30% more faster than it.It will offer 1GB of graphical memory, which is basically equal to two 8800 Ultras acting together. It will be like two 8800 Ultra GPU’s compressed into one of 9800 GX2 which would be as small as 65nm in size.According to
reports,GeForce 9800 GX2 will support quad SLI(Scalable Link Interface).
GeForce 9600 GT is expected to arrive before GeForce 9800 GX2 and it has also come upon my ears that it is expected to be launched on 14th february.
Ohh WOW!! What u think of asking your partner to gift it to you on the occasion of Valentine’s Day?
