Emergency Recharge your prepaid Airtel and Vodafone mobile
I know many of the existing Airtel and Vodafone prepaid customers will already be aware of this scheme. But, this is for all those who do not recharge their Mobile Phone accounts till it completely goes dry. People often tend to completely use their Cellphone Balance amount and have no balance left when they are in actual need or an emergency. For such people, the Telecom giants like Airtel and Vodafone have launched a unique scheme which will help them use a fixed amount of money even when their Mobile Balance goes zero.
For Airtel Subscribers
When in need of emergency balance, just type LOAN in a text message and send it to 121. Now Airtel will recharge you with Rs 10[INR] Now you can make emergency calls with this balance amount. When you recharge your phone again Airtel will deduct Rs 11[INR] from you ( Rs 1 extra for Service Charge )
This similar scheme is also available for Vodafone customers.
For Vodafone Subscribers
When you need an emergency recharge for your phone, just type CREDIT in a text message and send it to 144. Now you will get a balance of Rs 10[INR] from Vodafone to make your your emergency calls. The next time you recharge your mobile account, a sum of Rs 11[INR] will be deducted from your account (Rs 1 extra for service charge)
But knowing these schemes won’t help you when in need, unless you understand when exactly you can use it. So, let us learn more about these schemes:
- Valid only for Subscribes who have been using the prepaid card for more than 3 months.
- Your account validity will be extended by 7 days.
- Valid only if your Balance is below Rs 5[INR]
- You won’t be charged for sending the message for requesting the Emergency recharge.
