Make Right Click as the Default Mouse Click
| Advertisements | |
I don’t know why my Computer Mouse has started behaving in a weird way. It has partially stopped working! Even though the Right Click and the Middle Click functionalities are working pretty well, the Default Click which is the Left Click has stopped working! I cleaned it and checked this Mouse at my Friend’s place also, the problem is confirmed to be with the mouse and not my PC. I was planning to buy a new mouse but my Dad gave me cool idea.
Even though I knew that it was possible to exchange the Default Clicking buttons of the Mouse, it had not come to my mind unless reminded by my dad. Let me tell you, I am still using that partially working mouse and not yet purchased a new mouse.
The Method to make the Mouse Right Click as the Default Click in place of Left click is not as difficult as it might seem. You just need to do the following:
Step 1: Write “Mouse” in the Search bar of Windows Vista or Windows 7 Start menu. Select the Mouse option. For any other Windows, you can go to Mouse Properties.
Step 2: Check the Checkbox in Mouse Options to interchange the Clicking Buttons on your Mouse. This will change the Mouse Right Click to your Left Click. Look at the screenshot below:

You are done. You can have fun exchanging your Mouse Button Functionalities!

Hmmm…

I guess if you wanted to play a joke on a friend, you could change their mouse buttons around… sort of like doing the “shut down my computer” with notepad on their computer.
Of course, it might not be good for your friendship.
