DELL Inspiron R series Laptops with stylish changeable lids

The new Inspiron R series consists of 14 and 15 inch Laptops which are targeted towards Students and Professionals who are always on-the-go.

The “Change is Easy” sleek Inspiron R laptops come with second generation Intel Core i processors along with Windows 7 Home premium. All of the Laptops come with USB 3.0 ports for high speed Data transfer while the 15R models are equipped upto 4 GB of RAM and 500 GB HDD.

The HD capable Webcam, SRS premium speakers and the Chiclet keyboard are some notable additions to allow entertainment, connectivity and productivity at the same time! The 6-cell battery is added so that you can go without charging the Laptop for a considerable amount of time.

All that said, the USP of the Inspiron R Laptops are the stylish interchangeable Lids which allow you to change the look of your Notebook whenever you want! The Laptop comes with a Default Black lid with an option to select one more designer lid of your choice for free. More lids are available for purchase from their Design Studio at Rs. 1999 each. You can also choose your Lid from some India-specific designs too like Shaadi, Sangeet and Mehndi!

These Notebooks are specially aimed at the emerging markets like India, Brazil, China, etc. They start with a price tag of Rs. 34, 300 for 14R and Rs. 35, 300 for 15R and will be avaialble in India from 6th June 2011.

    This laptop would be great to bring in to court, its sleek skinny and light. I tried the Ipad and it was too slow for quick information.

    I think the Dells are a little weak. Samsung and HP are coming out with some pretty nice looking laptops and obviously Macs always look nice. Dell better step up its game :)
