HTC ChaCha Launched in India (One-Touch Facebook Access)

Touch-and-Type phones seem to be performing very well in the Indian Market and HTC is the latest player to launch an Android powered phone in this segment. The HTC ChaCha was launched for the Indian customers today, at a press conference in Mumbai.

Similar to the HTC Salsa which was launched about a month back, the USP of HTC ChaCha is the same : “One-Touch Facebook Access Button”.

HTC and TATA DOCOMO have joined hands to launched a bundled offer for ChaCha which will allow the Tata DOCOMO 3G prepaid customers to get 3 GB of Data usage and 3 hours of Free mobile TV which have to be used before 90 days of activation. The 2G Customers will get 3 GB free data and 300 Tata to Tata local calling to be used within 3 months.

For 3G Postpaid users 1 GB free data is offered each month while the mobile TV usage is the same. For 2G customers 1 GB free data and 100 minutes Tata to Tata calling is offered free each month for 3 months across all 2G circles.
