The current price of iPhone 4S 64GB model is around 5500 yuan mark while the retailers are charging exorbitant rates to bank on the fanboy-ism which the Apple iPhone has created in China. One of the sellers at TaoBao Marketplace said that he already had taken 24 pre-orders for iPhone 5 in about a weeks time!
The Chinese retailers claim that they will import the iPhone 5 from the USA or Hong Kong once its launched there and sell it in China by charging a premium for making it available in the country before its launched.
