Nokia Lumia 800 “The Dark Knight Rises” Edition launched in India for Rs. 24,999

The exclusive edition of Nokia Lumia 800 Windows Phone was launched in India today. Nokia as a part of its exclusive partnership is allowed to launch “The Dark Knight Rises” Edition of its Lumia 800 WP 7.5 phone. Even though there is a great possibility that we may come across the Special version for the Lumia 900 too; but we will wait as of now..

There will be no hardware changes in this exclusive edition of Lumia 800. Usual Software updates and Apps would work perfectly fine.

The Dark Knight Rises edition will have a Batman etching at the back to separate it from the normal Lumia 800 Smartphones. Also, There will be some exclusive content for Batman fans in the form of Videos, Ringtones, Wallpapers, Exclusive Dark Knight Rises app, Showtime Finder, etc.

It must be noted that there are only 200 units available for sale of this exclusive edition in India and each unit is priced at Rs. 24,999.

I understand that Nokia Lumia 800 is a good phone but with limitations. But I don’t find any fun in releasing the same phone with just a batman logo n the back.
