LG Launches L3, L5, L7 and 4X HD Smartphones in India

LG recently added a few Smartphones to boost its Android Lineup in India. They revealed their three new smartphones in India which are L3, L5, L7 which are a part of their new L Series and one more — the LG Optimus 4X HD Quad Core Android Smartphone!

All these phones run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich apart from the Optimus L3, which does not run on ICS but rather it does on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.
LG Optimus 4X HD
Coming to the Top-of-the-Line Smartphone, the LG Optimus 4X HD Quad Core Smartphone features a 1.5GHz Tegra 3 quad core(plus 1 more core) processor and a 4.7-inch True HD IPS 720p display (1280×720). The 8MP camera, Optimus 3.0 UI, 16GB internal memory, GPS and 2150mAh battery make it one of the High End phones currently in India featuring the Android 4.0 ICS OS. It is priced at Rs. 34,990.

The Optimus L3, L5 and L7 announcements are the ones which give LG a great change to have a strong foothold not only in the High-end market but also the mid-range and the low-end market, where feature-packed budget Android Smartphones are a need!

With slim and modern looks, the LG Optimus L7 features 4.3-inch QVGA display, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM, a 5MP primary camera and 1.3MP front-facing camera. The usual connectivity options of Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, etc are also present. With 4GB internal memory and a memory expansion option with the 32GB microSD card, this seems to be a power-packed Android 4.0 ICS Smartphone for just Rs. 19,900.

The Optimus L5 and L3 are perfectly crafted to meet the needs of the consumers on a small budget.

The L5 comes with a 4-inch HVGA display (320×480), 800MHz processor, 512MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage which can be expanded using a microSD card. Coming with Android 4.0 ICS and featuring a 5MP primary camera, along with all the major connectivity options, this seem to be a good buy for a consumer with a budget of Rs. 13,199.

The L3 is aimed at competing in the sub-10k Indian Market. It comes with a 800MHz CPU, 384MB RAM, and 1GB internal storage(and microSD card slot). With Android 2.3 OS, 3.2-inch (240×320) capacitive screen, 3MP primary camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other features, the L3 is priced at Rs. 8,895.

It clearly seems that LG does not want to stay in the shadows of Samsung.. Dear Samsung, LG is coming knocking — Right behind your back. The Android Market is wide open!
