Dell unveils its new range of Windows 8 devices for India

It appeared as if Dell was just waiting to usher its new range of Windows 8 products in the Indian Market as soon as Microsoft announced the arrival of Windows 8 to the masses. On 30th October, just one day after Microsoft held an event in India showcasing various features and products carrying Windows 8, Dell announced 4 awesome products running Windows 8.

Needless to say, we had a chance to experience these products and we really loved them!

Dell XPS 12 Convertible: Tablet + Laptop
This comes with a 12″ Corning Gorilla Glass screen with 1080p HD resolution and capacitive display. 1.3MP webcam and a choice of various Intel processors(upto 3rd Generation 2GHz Core i7) and upto 8GB DDR3 RAM, make this an powerful handheld device.
Dell XPS 12 convertible Laptop + Tablet
Made with Carbon fiber and equipped with a 6-cell Li-Ion battery, its quite light in weight and gives us the features of a complete Laptop as well as a Tablet. It is available with leading Electronics stores with a starting price of Rs. 90,490/- + taxes.

Dell Latitude 10 Tablet
This Windows 8 powered tablet comes with a 10.1″ IPS capacitive display with Gorilla glass and features an Intel Atom SoC, 2GB RAM and can take upto 128GB of eMMC card for increased storage options.
Dell Latitude 10 Windows 8 Pro Tablet
It has a 720p HD front video webcam and a 8MP rear camera with AutoFocus. You have a choice of either a 2-cell or a 4-cell battery. A USB 2.0 port and a full size SD card reader are pleasant additions! This Tablet will be made available for purchase from November end with a starting price of Rs. Rs 42,490/- + taxes.

This Ultrabook can take occasional water spills over it without affecting its performance and durability. This professional Ultrabook will be available from Mid-November at a starting price of Rs. Rs 69,990/- + taxes.

This customizable AIO comes with a 23″ multi-touch display and can be configured using processors from Intel’s 2nd as well as the 3rd generation Core series. It supports upto 16GB of RAM and upto 1TB hybrid-drive, 128GB SSD and 320GB Opal FIPS-certified Self-Encrypting Drive.
Dell OptiPlex 9010 All-in-One Touch desktop computer with wireless keyboard and mouse
All the regular network options are present along with tray load options for DVD-ROM, DVD Writer or Blu-ray Disc. This AIO will arrive in the market on 10th November at a starting price of Rs. 49,990/- + taxes.

    I’ve always loved Dell (first laptop in college), but they have always been pricy. Now a days I use Asus. The Dell Latitude 10 Tablet looks great, however I wish they would bring down their prices.
