After the resounding success of the HTC One Dual SIM Smartphone in China, the Taiwanese giants have decided to launch a similar model of the HTC One Dual SIM in India, which will thereby help in same type of impact in the market.
The Dual SIM Smartphone has been listed under “coming soon” section on the HTC India site and the unveiling of this product will definitely create a buzz when the actual launch date is announced.
Without doubt, HTC One is one of the best looking Smartphones in the market and this device is at par with some of the finest Smartphones in the market; however HTC plans to attract a large share of the market by announcing the option of a Dual SIM model in the Indian Smartphone market. Additionally this device will arrive with the much-needed option of expandable memory which was missing in the previous model, the HTC One.
Another point of difference between the Single SIM and Dual SIM models is that, the HTC One Dual SIM arrives with an interesting feature in the form of removable back cover that helps in accessing the SIM slots as well as the microSD slot. The availability of the expandable memory card slot for expanding the memory up to 64GB is a beneficial feature that comes along with the phone. The remaining features will be the similar to the ones that are found in the Single SIM version. The dual SIM Smartphone will support one 3G network while the other SIM will have a 2G network.
The exact pricing of the HTC one Dual SIM is not available at present, but inferring from the Chinese and Russian markets where the dual SIM version is available the prices should start around Rs. 43,500.
