Acer announces the Iconia A3, an Android tablet with 10.1-inch HD display, quad-core processor running Android 4.2

Acer today has announced the Iconia A3, a 10-inch Android tablet. The device features a 10.1-inch WXGA IPS display with 1,280×800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core cortex A7 processor (regarded to be MediaTek) and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). The tablet possesses a 5-megapixel rear camera and a front-facing camera. The Iconia A3 comes along with Dolby Digital Plus that offers a virtualized 5.1-channel surround experience over headphones. It is construed that Asus will advertise this tablet at IFA 2013.
