AMD rolls out the new R9 series Graphic cards

AMD, pioneers of processing chips and graphic cards have rolled out their latest R9 series and launched AMD Radeon R9 270X and AMD Radeon R9 280X graphic cards. The latest R9 series have been reengineered from top to bottom with special focus on gaming. The graphic cards are designed to tolerate heavy load and give a smooth environment even under the most treacherous demands.

The AMD Radeon R9 Series graphics cards are built on the AMD’s award-winning Graphics Core Next (GCN) architecture. Furthermore, the graphic cards have been supported by Mantle, an industry-acclaimed technology developed by AMD to enable today’s top game developers to harness the GCN-powered cores of both PCs and consoles. The greatest advantage of Mantle is its streamlined development and games will be interacting in native GCN language which gives it a revolutionary performance.

The common features of the Radeon R9 series is that both enable ultra resolution gaming through UltraHD and AMD Eyefinity technology. The technologies provide industry leading visual experience for gamers for both the upcoming as well as the current games. The AMD Radeon R9 270X are ideal for 1080p gaming while the AMD Radeon R9 280X are more suited to high resolution 2560×1440 games like Battlefield 4.

Both the graphic cards will go on sale from October 11 2013. The pricing of the AMD Radeon R9 270X is $199 for 2GB while 4GB for $229. The AMD Radeon R9 280X is priced at $299.
