Ever since its inception a little over a year ago, XOLO has delivered a range of products ranging from smartphones to tablets and have proven successful in most of their endeavors. They have now announced the launch of XOLO Play Tab 7, which is their first tab powered by an NVIDIA Tegra processor.
Sunil Raina commented on the launch event saying, “As XOLO continues to deliver on its promise to bring differentiated technology to discerning consumers; we’re replicating the success we’ve achieved in the smartphone category now in tablets. XOLO Play Tab 7.0 marks the first tablet in the XOLO Play category of products, powered by NVIDIA Tegra. Similar to XOLO Play T1000 smartphone launched in July, the Tab delivers similar entertainment now on a bigger 7-inch screen.”
The XOLO Play Tab 7 is XOLO’s second venture into the tablet market with the XOLO Tab launched early last month. The XOLO Tegra series of tablets is specially designed to revolutionize the mobile gaming market. The unique feature is the quad core architecture and an additional power saving core which provides additional battery life to the device.
XOLO Play Tab 7 has a 7inch display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. Furthermore, it has a NVIDIA GPU which gives improved gaming performance. The in-built memory is 8GB which can be further expanded to 32GB. The battery is a long lasting 4000mAh battery. The XOLO Play Tab7 supports Android 4.1 JellyBean OS and has RAM memory of 1GB. It sports a 2MP front camera which supports 1080p Full HD playback. It has no SIM slot for either calling or 3G internet services.
It has a special TegraZone which has a set of pre loaded games which are engaging and interactive in nature.
