Aircel has made its lasting impression on the Indian market and to consolidate their position at the top, they have been performing strategic alliances with top companies to gain better support. Over the past year, Aircel has entered into alliances with companies like MicroMax and Wikipedia which have been mutually beneficial to both parties. Aircel has now announced that they have entered into an alliance with the networking giant D-Link.
The benefit of this alliance is that Aircel have announced free 1GB of 3G data every month for a period of 3 months. The offer will be available for customers who activate an Aircel 3G SIM on D-Link data card namely ‘D-Link DWM-156’ and routers namely ‘D-Link DWR-512 and DWR-730’. The alliance is not only benefiting the individual members but also propagates the use for 3G among the masses.
Commenting on the partnership, Anupam Vasudev, Chief Marketing Officer – Aircel, said “Aircel constantly strives to contribute to the growth of data in India by introducing affordable innovations for the customers. This clearly indicates that India is now experiencing a data revolution and operator- device tie-ups will play a significant role in strengthening the telecom ecosystem, which is critical to fuel this growth. We are confident that with D-Link’s superior hardware technology and Aircel’s robust network capabilities, we will be able to provide a wholesome 3G experience to our customers.”
