Riding on the success of the Gionee ELife E6, the company is slowly expanding its products in the Indian markets. The company has announced the launch of Gionee GPad G3 which is a mid-range Phablet and is more suited to the Indian markets.
The device has a huge 5.5inch display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. It has a competent 1.2GHz quad core MediaTek MT6589 processor, coupled with the PowerVR SGX544 GPU and supports the Android JellyBean 4.2.1 OS. It focuses on giving maximum performance and seamless transition to the device. The internal memory is 4GB which can be expanded to 32GB while the RAM memory is 512MB. The battery capacity is 2250mAh.
The camera is 5MP Auto focus with features such as smile detection, gesture shot and various other features. The secondary camera carries a resolution of 0.3MP which has been provided for video-conferencing. The basic connectivity features such as 3G and Wi-Fi are all inculcated. It also supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) which is one of the major requirements for the device falling under this price range.
