Intex is one of India’s fastest growing smartphone brands. Intex is predominantly known in the Indian market for its Aqua range of smartphones, though it has unveiled its latest smartphone Intex MT6592 today.
Commenting on the announcement, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Business Head- Mobile, Intex Technologies said, “Our quest to become the top smartphone player in the industry has made us bring extraordinary products with such revolutionary technology in the hands of consumers. We have always banked upon our tech pedigree to meet the ever changing demands of Indian consumers. We are overwhelmed with the trust that MediaTek have put in us to create the best possible handset providing extraordinary user experience to consumers.”
The USP of the smartphone is without doubt its eight core processor, which is the first of its kind in India. There is also quite a lot of flexibility on the use of the eight core provided to the smartphones i.e. the user has the option of activating only half of the cores for regular usage thereby saving battery but if the user wants high speed multi tasking and enhanced performance it can unleash the full power of the eight cores. Besides the powerful processor it has an 6″ screen providing a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels which ensures that the screen is upto the mark. The smartphone will be running the Android JellyBean 4.2.2 as its OS. It has a powerful 2GB RAM and offers an option of either 16/32GB as its internal memory.
It also has a 13MP AutoFocus rear camera which offers features such as 1080p video recording and is equipped with a BSI sensor. It also has a good quality 5MP front camera for Video-conferencing. The design is kept very sleek at just 7mm which gives it a sophisticated feel to it. The smartphone also has dual Yamaha 1420 speakers providing high quality sound to the user.
