10 Tools to Decrypt MD5 Hashes online

MD5 hashing is said to be a one-way hash method where it is not possible to Decrypt the Hashed string to get the original Word. But, once the string to be hashed using MD5 is indexed in Google and its hash too is indexed in Google, it is possible to reveal the original Password through it. But, doing a normal Google search won’t really make it easy for you to find the Original Strings. So, I am going to tell you about some special Search engines [most of them are derived from Google] which help in Decrypting your MD5 hashes and revealing the originally locked Passwords or Keywords.

Decrypt MD5 Hash

MD5 Password Recovery
Enter the hashed string and click the “Do IT” button, you get the original Key-phrase Password.

MD5Crack
This will help you generate as well as Decrypt the MD5 hashed strings. It has a Google like interface.

GData
Allows you to enter a maximum of 5 MD5 hashed string at the same time, separated by semicolon and gives out the original words.

MD5 Decoder
This also helps in decoding the HEX coded strings which are of 32 characters.

MD5Cracker
Helps to decode as well as encode an MD5 hash.

Reverse MD5 hash
Has a Google-like look and is powered by rednoize.com. Using SHA1 is also possible with this tool.

MD5 Decrypter
Helps to Decrypt a maximum of 8 hashes at the same time. CAPTCHA is used to avoid use by spammers.

Reverse MD5 lookup
Decrypts Hash to Clear text as well as Encrypts any String into MD5 hash.

MD5 hash Database
Searches about 5 databases for the Hash, if the Clear text is found in any of those then the appropriate result is shown.

How to TYPE the Copyright Symbol from Keyboard?

Copyright Symbol- © is observed in the footer of nearly all websites, which means that the information provided in the site is protected under copyright laws and the sole authority of the information lies with the person or organisation whose name is written besides the symbol. But how do you type the Copyright symbol from your keyboard, so that it appears in your website. If you observe carefully, you don’t find any character on your keyboard which appears like that symbol. So how do you type it?

One of the best alternatives which people follow when they don’t know how to type the Copyright symbol through keyboard is “They Copy-Paste the symbol from any other website which contains it !” Most amateur bloggers and webmasters do this, but people having a reasonable knowledge about HTML take a different approach.

As I have said, I will tell you how to type that symbol. Just type the following text within any HTML code where-ever you need the Copyright symbol:

Just save the changes and you are done. © is the opeator used to type the copyright symbol in HTML.

To check this out, just open NOTEPAD and type the following code inside it:

Now save this file as “AnyName.html”. After saving the file, Double-Click on it so that it Opens. You will find a new browser Window opening with just the Copyright Symbol as the content.

How to Rip DVDs? A graphical guide

Extreme Downloaders download Large movies as DVDrips. But these Files are just about 690-700 Mb in size and the quality is unquestionable. If you go out in the market trying to buy the DVD’s of these movies, you will find that each movie fits in a single DVD. Thus, each movie in the DVD is 4.7Gb in size. Also, each movie comprises of 4-5 .vob extension files. So, compressing all these files into a single file of about 700 Mb is quite profitable!

Now, How to go about it? This procedure is called as Ripping of DVDs. 4-5 .vob extension files are Ripped and converted into a single .avi format(in most cases) file, which makes this small file easy for sharing on Internet forums as Torrents or on Peer-to-Peer networks. I am providing you a Graphical Guide for better explanation, so that there is no question left unanswered.

For Ripping DVDs, we will use a software called Vidomi. It is a free program and you can Download Vidomi here. Now, Let us start with a 10-step easy-to-understand Graphical tutorial.

Step #1: Start Vidomi. Firstly you need to find out your main .VOB files that contains the movie only. Do not select any other Menu/Extra .VOB files. Highlight the main movie .VOB files and click Open.

Step #2: After selecting your .Vob files, click on options and then click on video options.

Step #3: Make sure you *Uncheck* Hyper Scale and choose Scale By Pixels and set your Resolution to 640×272. For video codec settings, choose XVID Hybrid (One Pass). Make sure your screen looks exactly like this screenshot and hit OK.

Step #4: Click on Options again and choose Audio Options.

Step #5: Now this can be tricky, so pay attention. If you do not want to change any settings then simply make sure on Lame Min Bitrate is set to 128Kbps or below. But if u want to change your Audio container to MP3, then *Uncheck* Use Lame To Encode ; And click on Select Audio Codec Defaults and look for MPEG Layer-3.

Step #6: Now go to Options and choose Output Size Option.

Step #7: Make sure your screen looks exactly like this Screenshot. However if u want a 2-CDRip, then on Target Size put the value of 1400 MB.

Step #8: Go to Options and pick: Select Source Range..

Step #9: This is a very important step, So do not screw this up! This screen works just like a Video Splitter but it’s main purpose is to select Start and End positions of your Ripped movie. So first click on the 1st bracket and then drag the point all the way to the end and click on the 2nd bracket. Now click Done.

Step #10: Click on Start Encoding. Grab a cup of Coffee/Tea (Even Vodka or Beer will do) and wait patiently while the File encodes for you.

You can check your Statistics anytime you like, it will show you the time remaining and the current progress in Percentage.

Done? Now you can share this file on the Internet or keep it for yourself rather than storing 4-5 files of .VOB format which will eat up 4.7 Gb of your Hard-Drive space.

View High Resolution,Improved Quality Youtube videos

Bored of those blurry Youtube videos? Why not improve its Quality by watching the same videos is high resolution. Youtube is the most popular video sharing website, but it displays most of the videos(nearly all) in a low resolution, low bandwidth mode for viewability on computers with low bandwidth internet connections.

But many people with high bandwidth internet connections cannot watch high resolution youtube videos. So, it is as good as a sacrifice of High bandwidth users for the low bandwidth users. But now you can switch to high resolution Youtube videos with just a simple hack.

Normally the youtube URL looks like the one below which gives you low resolution 320×240 videos.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ABCDE

Simply add &fmt=6 onto the end of URL
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ABCDE&fmt=6

Now you should see high resolution videos. If no change is observed, then it means the video has not been converted to the higher resolution yet. View the video in full screen mode to see the difference. Still if no difference is observed, add &fmt=18 to the end of URL.

Now, the URL will appear as:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ABCDE&fmt=18

When the video is successfully converted to a high bandwidth mode, then the youtube video player will have a small footer as shown in the image saying “Watch in Normal Quality”.

Now it will play high-resolution 480×360 MP4 high-bandwidth videos with higher quality audio when available, otherwise it will play the regular version.

Open Websites,Images in Blocker immune pop-up

Quite often we wish that a particular link in our Blog or website must open in a new Window or a Tab, so that we don’t loose our traffic(Website visitors). But links within the same domain or even links to other domains open in Same window. We(Bloggers/Podcasters) are at loss because of such loss of traffic. Also, many of the web-pages opening in new windows are blocked by Pop-Up Blockers. So what can be done to open links to Websites, Images, etc in a new window without getting blocked by pop-up blockers?

A small 22kb script allows you to open a new browser window inside a window, for images, webpages and much more. The best thing is that this script is immune to Pop-up Blockers. But it should be noted that Web-Surfers hate pop-ups, so use this script sparingly. This script has a very simple and fast installation process and Also you can easily alter its style(appearance) as it is controlled through CSS.

Installation

Step 1

Append following to your header section. GB_ROOT_DIR is the URL where static files are located:

GB_ROOT_DIR should be absolute.

Step 2

Append also following scripts and one stylesheet:

Remove Dotted Focus Rectangle around Icons

You have come across the Dotted Rectangle which surrounds the last selected item in Windows. It is often termed as “Focus Rectangle”. This is minor, but still kind of ugly-looking environment to any Icon image. How to get rid of this annoying ugly-looking outline once and for all?

The Focus Rectangle can be forgotten by just adding a small “DLL” file in the Windows directory and registering it with a single command.
Installation:
1. Put RemoveFocusRect(which is a DLL file which you will extract from the zip file) in your system32 directory.
2. Click Start and select Run.
3. Type “regsvr32 RemoveFocusRect.dll” (without the quotes) and press OK.
4. Next time a program is started, it won’t have focus rectangles.
Note: In Windows Vista, all those steps should be done with administrative privileges.

After this you will still see selected items highlighted, but their remains won’t hang around your desktop or menu bars.

Create UnDeletable Invisible Folder with No-Name

Playing Pranks has been in by Blood. Cant help it! I wish to tell you about creating a folder with no-name i.e. blank name. An invisible folder. To add fuel to the fire, what if we can make this folder as Un-deletable? Sounds interesting, huh?

1. Create a New folder.
2. Right-click on it, then choose rename.
3. After that delete the name New Folder and press Alt key.Type 0160 while holding the Alt key. Use Num-Pad for typing numerals.
4. That will create invisible space in the folder name, press Enter.
5. Right-click that folder, choose properties, then go to Customize tab.
6. Click Change Icon and then choose invisible icon. As shown in the image.

Now try deleting this invisible folder. Ohh! can’t delete it? So, what can be done to get rid of this stupid invisible undeletable folder? Here is the trick…

1. Open a Command Prompt window. You will find a command saying:
C:\Users\Tech-Freak Stuff> where Tech-Freak Stuff will be replaced by your Username.

2. Go to the parent directory where you have saved the invisible folder. If you have saved it on Desktop, then type:
C:\Users\Tech-Freak Stuff>cd desktop And press enter.

3. Then you enter Desktop. Now type:
C:\Users\Tech-Freak Stuff\Desktop>dir/x And press enter.

4. There it will show up all the directories present on the desktop in their DOS format names(8 character names). The invisible undeletable folder will have a name like 0A00~1. Might not be exactly same.

5. Type rd/s [DOS NAME OF FOLDER] And press enter. For example:
C:\Users\Tech-Freak Stuff\Desktop>rd/s 0A00~1

6. A question will be asked weather you are sure or no. Type Y and press Enter. The folder should be deleted.

Trojans affecting Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5 Observed

Mac OS X is known to be among the very strong Operating Systems again Viruses and Trojans.But recently Trojan Horses for Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5 are observed.

Secure Mac a Macintosh Security Website has found two new Trojan horses recently and has adviced Mac users to keep their Antivirus Softwares updated.

A Trojan horse named AppleScript.THT runs hidden on the system, and allows a malicious user complete remote access to the system, can transmit system and user passwords, and can avoid detection by opening ports in the firewall and turning off system logging. Also,this Trojan horse can log keystrokes, take pictures with the built-in Apple iSight camera, take screenshots, and turn on file sharing. The Trojan horse exploits a recently discovered vulnerability with the Apple Remote Desktop Agent, which allows it to run as root.

This Trojan horse is currently being distributed from a hacker website, where discussion has taken place on distributing the Trojan horse through iChat and Limewire.

The Trojan named OSX.Trojan.PokerStealer is a script wrapped in an executable bundle. Once launched, the script will prompt the user for his password, and turn on SSH for outside attackers to gain access to the system.

2) Always clear your cache.This is already done through “Delete Private Data” function.You can download a small utility named “Ccleaner” for the above given precautions.This utility will help clear all the temporary files from your Pc.This utility can be downloaded by clicking here.

3)Use an IP address hiding tool to keep your IP address hidden.You can download a hide-IP software by clicking here.

4)Use Scroogle which is an Ads free Google search proxy,which shows exact Google search results and also helps keep our Anonymity.Go to Scroogle.

LOGIN TO MULTIPLE E-MAIL ACCOUNTS SIMULTANEOUSLY

U would have always felt a need to login to more than one e-mail account at the same time.Suppose that u own two different yahoo-mail accounts.U have signed in to one of those accounts but u have to sign in to the other one also at the same time without logging out from the first account.this is not possible in normal circumstances.

To avoid this inconvienience, FIREFOX has designed an ADDON in mozilla firefox.This ADDON is named “COOKIE SWAP”.

CookieSwap enables you to easily swap all your cookies so that you can be logged in to multiple web e-mail accounts (like Gmail and Yahoo! mail) at the same time and quickly switch between them.CookieSwap is an extension that enables you to maintain numerous sets or ‘profiles’ of cookies that you can quickly swap between while browsing.

Some uses of this firefox extension are:
* Changing your cookies/identity to web e-mail sites (like Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, etc) so that you can quickly look like different users. Nice if you maintain multiple accounts and are tired of logging out and then back in to switch accounts. Also nice if two people are using the same computer and want to switch between accounts quickly.

* Changing your cookies/identity to see how sites like Amazon and Google treat you differently depending on who you are.
